Patient Participation Group

Ashby Turn Primary Care Centre welcomes patients to give their views on how the practice is doing and would like to receive the opinions of as many patients as possible in order for us to maintain the best possible delivery of care.

As a patient with our practice your point of view is important and will enable us to enhance your experience when you come to the surgery.

We currently have a Patient Participation Group consisting of approximately 30 patients. We have around 5 patients who regularly attend quarterly meetings to discuss any current issues raised by either the practice or patients. The meetings are a good opportunity for our patients to gain an understanding of General Practice and the day to day operation of Ashby Turn Primary Care Centre. The Practice Manager attends the majority of meetings to answer any questions that arise from discussions. All minutes from our PPG meetings will be published on the website.

Membership to the PPG is open to all our patients and staff of the practice and we would welcome any new members who wish to join.

How to Join

All patients registered with our practice are welcome to join. If you are interested in joining please contact Lindsey Lappin, Assistant Practice Manager, or alternatively please complete the online form via the link below.

Please note: Personal complaints cannot be dealt with through the Patient Participation Group meetings. Complaints should be addressed to the Practice Manager. If you wish to know more about our complaints procedure, please contact our reception team.

Getting Your View

The group would like to contact patients on occasion by email and/or text so that they can obtain the views of the widest group of patients possible. We would like to obtain your email address and mobile phone number to do this. Please complete the Patient Contact Form to provide your consent for this.
